Touring Services and Producers 

arTour – Supports performing artists and producers to tour work through regional Queensland and nationally. arTour also assists Queensland presenters to program performance work for their local audiences.

Arts On Tour – A key servicing organisation for performing arts touring in NSW. AOT provides tour development, coordination, administration, logistics and risk management support to independent, small to medium producers and major production companies. AOT is also an advocate for the NSW touring sector, providing information and advice, resources, industry analysis and facilitating forums.

ArtBack NT – Works with artists from around the Northern Territory to develop and tour their work to local, national and international audiences.

Critical Stages – Develops and delivers independent theatre production tours through the regional and national touring networks.

Musica Viva – helps bring the best classical, jazz, world music, early music, vocal, and percussion ensembles to regional Australia.

Performing Lines – Develops, produces and tours new and innovative Australian performing arts regionally, nationally and internationally.

Tasmania Performs – provides value to performing artists across the life-cycle of their career to enhance their professional opportunities. Tasmania Performs is managed by Performing Lines.

Regional Arts Organisations

RASN(Queensland) – A network of regional arts service providers who work together to deliver on-the-ground arts services in communities across Queensland. Driving regional development across regions and working with the local arts sector, the community and key stakeholders, they help to determine key arts and cultural priorities for specific regions.

Regional Arts Australia – Supports artists, arts organisations, audiences and communities in regional, remote and rural Australia. 

Regional Arts NSW – The peak body and service agency for arts and cultural development in regional NSW. 

Country Arts SA – Brings the arts to life in regional South Australia through a range of programs and initiatives, the management of performing and visual arts venues, and the provision of grant funding. 

Regional Arts WA – The peak body in Western Australia for regional arts. 

Regional Arts Victoria – Helps develop and sustain creative communities and artistic practice all over Victoria. 

Funding Bodies and Sources

Arts Queensland – The State Government body dedicated to building a strong and diverse arts and cultural sector that celebrates Queensland’s unique identity and cultural heritage.

Australia Council for the Arts – The Australian Government’s arts funding and advisory body. It supports Australia’s arts through funding, strengthening and developing the arts sector and offers a range of National Touring and Festivals Programs designed to increase access for regional and remote audiences.

Regional Arts Fund (RAF) – an Australian Government program designed to benefit regional and remote arts practitioners, arts workers, audiences and communities. The fund is provided through Regional Arts Australia and is administered in Queensland by Flying Arts Alliance.

Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) – A partnership between Arts Queensland and local governments, RADF supports local artists and arts and cultural activities in Queensland communities.

Indigenous Regional Arts Development Fund (IRADF) – A partnership between Arts Queensland and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. IRADF ensures Indigenous communities in regional and remote areas of Queensland have access to arts and cultural services.
