NARPACA members are responsible for professionally managed venues within their communities that stretch from the Gold Coast in the South to Mount Isa in the West, Cairns in the North to Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. Member-venues range in size, catchment and structure ranging from large metropolitan centres such as Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane to small regional centres such as Capella Cultural Centre. NARPACA venues also range in age such as the Empire Theatre in Toowoomba originally constructed in 1911, the Pilbeam Theatre in Rockhampton constructed in the 1970s and Redland Performing Arts Centre which officially opened in 2008. In recent years, membership has expanded to include theatres in both secondary and tertiary educational settings and performing arts producers seeking broader engagement with presenters in Northern Australia.
