NARPACA endorses the Queensland Companion Card

NARPACA has thrown its support behind the Queensland Companion Card Program as a way of further encouraging participation in the arts for people with a disability. The program promotes fair ticketing for people with a disability.
NARPACA President, Mr Destry Puia said that equitable and ongoing community participation in the arts is a key priority for NARPACA and its members.

"The new NARPACA website will provide promoters, producers and touring coordinators with key information about the wealth and extent of performing arts venues available via the NARPACA circuit” said Mr Puia.
Around 2 million Queenslanders visit regional performing arts centres in Queensland every year. This works out to be almost 5,000 people a day supporting arts facilities within their own communities therefore NARPACA’s endorsement of the Queensland Companion Card Program will send a clear message of inclusion in the arts for all sectors of the community.
