Touring Services and Product
arTour is Queensland's centre of contemporary touring knowledge. They support performing artists and producers to tour work through regional Queensland and nationally. arTour also assists Queensland presenters to program performance work for their local audiences.
The Performing Arts Touring Alliance (PATA) is Australia’s peak body for the national performing arts touring sector. It is a cohesive and objective voice for key stakeholders and government, providing quality and informed strategic advice and policy.
Arts On Tour (AOT) is a key servicing organisation for performing arts touring in NSW. AOT provides tour development, coordination, administration, logistics and risk management support to independent, small to medium producers and major production companies. AOT is also an advocate for the NSW touring sector, providing information and advice, resources, industry analysis and facilitating forums.
National Touring Selector (previously known as Cyberpaddock) is an online national touring marketplace which brings together producers and presenters to help generate performing arts seasons and tours around Australia. National Touring Selector is owned and operated by Regional Arts Australia.
Critical Stages develops and delivers tours of outstanding independent theatre productions through the regional and national touring networks. Productions are chosen from across Australia via a clearly-defined curatorial process that includes essential criteria of significant critical and industry acclaim, previous box-office success and suitability for touring.
Kultour is the national network that advocates for cultural diversity in the arts as a service provider, facilitator and supporter of high quality touring programs across Australia. Annually, Kultour offers a curated program of multicultural works available for touring on the national circuit.
Musica Viva CountryWide helps bring the best classical, jazz, world music, early music, vocal, and percussion ensembles to regional Australia.
Performing Lines develops, produces and tours new and innovative Australian performing arts regionally, nationally and internationally.
Regional Arts Victoria inspires art across the state. Through creative facilitation, touring, education, specialised resources, artistic projects and advocacy, they develop and sustain creative communities and artistic practice all over Victoria.
Arts Queensland is the State Government body dedicated to building a strong and diverse arts and cultural sector that celebrates Queensland’s unique identity and cultural heritage. Arts Queensland’s role includes providing advice and support to the Minister for the Arts in setting the Government's strategic policy direction for arts and culture in Queensland and facilitating the delivery of the Government's arts and culture priorities through developing and administering funding programs and capital works programs.
Arts NT's primary role is to support and develop the artistic and cultural potential of the Territory through policy, operational and financial support and advice to the arts sector and to government. Through its programs Arts NT aims to develop responsive and appropriate mechanisms for the support and development of the Northern Territory's artists and the broader arts sector. Arts NT aims to ensure that all Territory residents have access to a variety of arts and cultural activities either as audience or as active participants.
The Australia Council for the Arts is the Australian Government’s arts funding and advisory body. It supports Australia’s arts through funding, strengthening and developing the arts sector and offers a range of National Touring and Festivals Programs designed to increase access for regional and remote audiences.
The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a highly successful state and local government partnership that supports local artists and arts and cultural activities in Queensland communities.
The Indigenous Regional Arts Development Fund (IRADF) program is a partnership between Arts Queensland and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. IRADF ensures Indigenous communities in regional and remote areas of Queensland have access to arts and cultural services.
The Creative Sparks Program is a joint initiative of Brisbane City Council and Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
